Amanda Durett Cercone is an Emmy Award winning editor based in New York City.
With almost 20 years of editing for television, film, sports programming, and corporate clients, her work has been featured on various networks including Food Network, HGTV, TLC, Discovery Channel, History Channel, Bravo, NFL Films, FOX, Animal Planet, and YES Network.
She has also worked on web-based shows for EPSN.com and Warner Bros online.
She is a graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia, where her student editing and directing work was later featured in a national commercial for the school.
A career that involves music, storytelling, and pushing buttons has proven to be a perfect fit. She is able to handle the daily demands and challenges of the fast-paced editing world, while still keeping the atmosphere fun. She works well alongside a producer and loves the collaboration process, but when left alone to work independently, her creativity emerges and she is able to produce solid work.
Most recently, she organized an exhibition on editing for apexart in NYC.
"The Wonderful Wizards of Post" re-imagined the classic film "The Wizard of Oz."
